It’s a beautiful hat, the color and fit are perfect and the craftsmanship appears to be high quality. Exactly what I would expect from Stetson.
This hat is so good looking on. Even my riding instructor liked it. For reference, my head measurement was exactly 22” - right between a small and medium, so I ordered both. The small was a perfect fit.
It fits great even with my thick long locks! I must buy more Stetson! Love it

So I’ve had a couple of cowboy hats, but they were basically junk. I decided I wanted to get me some good cowboy hats. I bought the contour first mainly for outdoor concerts and just love the shape of it. When I got it, it fit me good, and I like the way it looks. The quality was also really good for the money I thought. So I ordered a more serious Stetson, the Evilla de Oro which is on the way. Then I ordered a Stetson El Patron, even more serious Stetson. I’ll put a review up when I get those two. Long story short, get this hat.

If you listen to the company boast about their history…be careful. I purchased a straw hat online. I own many (fitted) hats…close to 500, so I am certain of my head size. This was my first cowboy hat. Read the item description and sizing instructions. Received order and of course too big. Frustrated, I called customer service…while on hold got to hear how great a company…over 100 yo. When the rep got on after being disconnected once, I inquired about the process for exchanging the hat. Well Stetson doesn’t exchange hats…. you have to cancel first transaction and reorder. None left in my correct size…. oh well. . !! The kicker, Stetson charges $10 for the return. So I’ve paid $20 in shipping and no hat. So while talking to the rep, I asked, why is this hat so large and I own 100’s of hats and my size has been the same FOR A LONG TIME. Well, the rep told me my hat was made of palm straw and they tend to run large and I should have sized down…. REALLY. . !! NOWHERE ON THE SIGHT DOES IT SAY TO SIZE DOWN DUE TO PALM STRAW RUNNING LARGER. What a shame…. maybe Stetson should spend more time ensuring their website storefront has accurate information for the consumer to determine the correct size and avoid a $20 money grab. I do know that Stetson is over 100 years old…that is displayed enough I am so disappointed and don’t think I will ever shop at Stetson again.

I got this hat for my hikes in the woods as I kept getting ticks and I’m not a fan of ball caps I’ve tried so many and they never feel right on my head. I absolutely love this hat for outside, it stays firm on my head when I go for walks and it stayed on while I went wading through the river. Very happy with my purchase and I will be purchasing another “going out” hat for fancy occasions!
The shape of my Med. size hates far too eggs shaped. Had to fill in, front and back,behind the sweatband. Pretty disappointed.

I bought this hat about a month ago, it is my everyday wear now. Here in Oklahoma, we have wind often, this hat impressed me by staying in place in some very windy days. The straw has a stiff feel out of the box but as you wear it will flex, and break in. the hat stays put. So, it's a great looking hat, feels great on, and it's affordable. a perfect trifecta!
I don't have the cowboy build really so I have to be careful when buying hats. I spent 2 months going back and forth about the Contoy Palm Straw hat. Not too tall, not too wide, just right. . . I really feel like Goldy Locks. Great Color, true to the website photos. Fits just right. looks great!! AND. . . The buying process is super easy and reliable. I may be looking at other hats down the road. Highly recommend!
It's a really nice hat. Well-made, and stylish. I wish there was an option to leave off the branded "S" on the left side of the hat, though.

Definitely a bit bigger than expected based on the size chart, but it's a great hat. If you're between sizes, order the smaller one.

The hat sizing was a bit off. I had to size down but the quality is great and it looks good on my husband.
The hat is absolutely lovely. It fits me well. It just has a crack on the brim. I love the hat so much that I’m not gonna send it back, but it’s unfortunate. The crack is there.
I bought it for a trip to Cabo later this year but I wear it all the time now, even around the house. Well made, high quality, and beautiful. I’m a 7 1/4 and medium fit me well with a spacer.
Bought as an upgrade from my previous summer hat (non-stetson) that finally kicked the bucket. It breathes well and provides some excellent shade. I was worried about sizing but fit like a charm and the stampede string came in handy with some decent wind gusts on the beach and the trail.

Really love the hat quality was great. The size wasn’t really all that accurate but I fixed that with some padding but I would highly recommend the company and the product very high-quality. Very nice product. Thank you.
Awesome straw hat. . good fit. Stetson doesn’t disappoint! Going to buy a pretty one for the wife.
Super comfortable once I got the sizing right. My normal Stetson size is a 7 and the size chart recommended a medium. However, this style ran large as I had to exchange for a small. I appreciate hats with chin straps , and this and the Gus straw one are my favorite to wear on active days.
