Great hat.
The hat is made of quality material. But I am disappointed in the size of the brim
Very lightweight and cool summer hat. Great color. My straw strataliner is great, but can get warm in 100 degree heat as it is not vented and heavier. Sizing is exactly like my hard felt open road and runs a tad small so I am glad I didn’t size down as I am between a 7 1/4 and a 7/3/8. Make sure you confirm sizing as I made the mistake of getting a 7 3/8 with my stataliner it ran almost a full size bigger than the Open roads in the same size, but I made it work. when I contacted Amir at costumer service, he was spot on about sizing. It is kind of a dressy hat, but I use it for everything except dirty work. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it’s worth it.

Great hat! Great historic company. The open road hat has great western style without looking like you are trying too Hard to be a cowboy.

I was a bit disappointed in the size, if I had been on the larger end of the size range it would never have fit, even though just bigger than the smallest end of the size range should have been great. Fortunately for me I have a hat stretcher, and could make it okay. So I was disappointed in the quality control. Or, hats run small. Although I bought a different one that fit just fine.

The hat arrived in perfect shape and was exactly as described.
This is a sharp hat with great styling and proportions. I really like it and I’ll probably buy a felt come winter. I’m a “long oval” head shape so with many hats (including this one) I need to “size up and even then sometimes need to give them with a little steam and a stretcher to get the right fit. Works every time. Now it fits awesome. It’s stunning. Love it.

I purchase 3 Open roads a year from stetson,com or retailers. The hat I just received has a cupped brim. I sent an email about the issue with a photo to customer service their response was I should spray the hat with water and reshape the brim myself or take it somewhere to have it reshaped. The price increase I can handle. Poor customer service not so much. After years of never going anywhere without an Open Road on my head Stetson has let me down.

It was easy to order this hat and the quality of the hat was great.
Great product. Lightweight and well vented for hot climates. People noticed and complimented my hat. It works great with shorts and a polo at a cookout and also great with Sunday church wear. If you have a long oval shaped head, get the next size up.

I love the hat. I’m breaking it in, but I have a weird head so it takes a bit. You might want to look into better packaging, the box was beat up, thankfully the hat wasn’t.

I’ve got a Stetson Open Road 160th anniversary hat I wore through the winter. This is now my awesome spring and summer hat! It’s well made, very fashionable and vented! What more could I ask for!

Beautiful hat, well made. I ordered 58 cm 7 1/4 based on the tag in another Stetson that I ordered last year. In that other one I had to add some foam to get the fit right. Oddly, this hat was a little too small. I’m not sure why there was such a sizing difference here.
