I have a number of fedora's, but you can always count on Stetson quality. Materials are premium, and the look is great. Got 2 compliments on the walk home from work today.
This is my sixth Stetson and I am so happy to have finally gotten (been able to afford) the Open Road! Beautiful hat, but then again I’ve never had a bad one from Stetson.
I love my new hat. Fits like a glove. Nothing but compliments.
Soft forgiving fit.
My husband has wanted one of these for YEARS. He planned on the straw but it was out of stock in the size and color he wanted, so I encouraged him to select a winter hat. He chose this one, and he is in LOVE. Of course I will be buying him the straw come summer and in the mean time, he has found ANOTHER one he wants!! I wish I could post a photo of how handsome he looks in this open road. We could not be happier!
Great fit and look
The Royal Deluxe version of this hat to me is superior in many ways. It can look like the standard open road, or wit the flexible brim it can be a little more Stratoliner looking. Love it. I have two now.

Nice felt, terrific color, and the snap brim is a nice feature.
Like this hat better than the 6x because of the softer feel. Can even turn the brim down as needed. Good fit, nice quality.
Perfect hat, love Stetson
I've only recently started wearing brimmed hats. I've been a newsboys/flat cap guy for a while and branched out. I am so happy that I did. The look is unique; the feel and materials are excellent. This is a head turner, and you'll get compliments.

One could certainly call me a novice when it comes to buying hats, so I was more than a little apprehensive about purchasing online. But the service was fast, the quality of the hat, superb (which was expected) and the use of the online sizing instructions yielded a perfect fit. Already thinking about my next color choice!

I’ve had my Open Road Deluxe in Silverbelly one week and it’s pretty much come off my head only to shower and sleep! Has molded to my head and is already “my hat. ” Couldn’t be happier!

Prefer the deluxe open road to the 6x : suppler texture
When I was growing up in a small town, the banker was everyone’s friend. He always wore a hat just like this. I wear one now in honor of him.
When you wear your Stetson Open Road you not only announce your coolness but you also look like you own the ranch. A stately look when called on and yet edgy and even chique depending upon your outfit. I think it’s a one and done hat; I got the silver belly. As you live your one life, enjoy it before the show is over. Your hat is a symbol and a metaphor for a life well lived… on the Open Road!

The adjustable brim makes this Stetson a great choice for me. The quality is fantastic and the style is really impressive. Winner!
First day wearing it and I have already received three compliments from total strangers, but, the best compliment came from my wife, who really likes it. It might run a little small; feels tight. But I know from other Stetsons I've owned that it will conform to my head over time until it gets to the point where I don't even know I have it on.
This hat is absolutely stunning, beautifully soft and fits very well. The sage is an amazing color that goes well with just about everything.

I have several OR Deluxe's now. Silverbelly, Sage and Caribou. I absolutely love them and I get compliments when I'm out in public wearing them. Gorgeous hats.
Spent a lot of time researching my first brimmed hat. So glad I went with open road. Super lite for everyday wear. Just looks awesome because of the great quality for the price.
